The Mystic Voices make up the fruit of varying backgrounds and unique talents. Laura Stack and Gloria Rice are an acoustic folk duo with a knack for sweet & soulful vocal harmonies. Their voices blend with acoustic guitar and various percussion instruments to create and perform spiritual and heart-filled music. Their acoustic folk duo performs locally and internationally. Some of their recent performances include playing and presenting for the 43rd Annual SSF-IIIHS International Conference: Living the Divine Potential in Montreal, Canada in addition to playing for Spirit Fest at the historic Camp Chesterfield in Chesterfield, IN. The Mystic Voices perform for weddings, memorial services and special events.
Laura Stack has her background in music education and taught music in public schools for 13 years while receiving her Masters in Music Education and traveling as a national presenter. Laura has always been a life-long performer and her favorite role was playing Roxie in Chicago. Her first showcase as a songwriter was during her time as a Butler University undergraduate for their Fall Concert Series. Her songwriting passion and abilities have only continued to grow and become more and more aligned with her life’s purpose.
Gloria Rice has her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Central Florida, performed as an Orlando Opera Studio Artist and soloist with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Gloria lived and performed in New York for almost a decade and graced the stage with artists such as Lorna Luft and Lillias White. She also played the role of Eva Peron in Eight O’Clock Theatre’s production of Evita.
Last year, Laura and Gloria came together as The Mystic Voices to share love and light in the world through music. It has been a wonderful adventure ever since! Their folky style, beautiful harmonies, and inspiring lyrics are a breath of fresh air to audiences. Hearing The Mystic Voices will likely make your heart smile!
